@Amanda Tomorrow will shape up very similar to this evening. Scattered storms will spark up during peak heating of the day. Plan for outdoor time but make sure you can escape the storms if need be. It won't be a washout
LATEST UPDATE: Concern for heavy rain increasing for Labor Day! The threat for rain/thunderstorms is increasing for Monday and Monday night, especially along and south of a Toledo to Youngstown line. Isaac's rains will combine with a stationary front to produce 1-2" of rain in this area by Tuesday afternoon. Some spots might even measure 3 inches of rain. Mansfield, Ashland, Wooster, Canton, Dover, New Phily and Youngstown stand the best chance for a Labor Day Soak-Fest! Stay tuned!!!!
@StormWatcher200 I got the IL pic of your radar... nothing from MO though. Can you try it again?
@Nichole Amendolar The severe potential is very low but heavy rain and small hail are possible with the strongest storms. A brief storm will push through Akron shortly, then a few more after a brief break
@Donna Ruswinkle Expect heavy rain and small hail. Can't rule out an isolated gust to 30mph either but this shouldn't last all evening. General movement is mainly east
@RadarMan17 There you go! I'll be on this chat all evening so I'll keep you informed.
@MelissaLSherril send them to firstname.lastname@example.org or upload them right here in the chat. Thanks!
Hey everyone! I hope your day is going well... Looks like these storms are sparking along that cold front. General motion should be along the Rt 224 corridor
Welcome to the new & improved severe weather chat page on NewsNet5.com!
@Carrie You've got a great shot at staying dry. Just an isolated thunderchance for you through Sunday. Better chances for rain are south of a Toledo to youngstown line.
@Scott Stay the extra day. Just isolated activity through Sunday for you.
