2014 Winter Olympics Tracker: Live coverage from Sochi, Russia

This liveblog will feature updates, news and pictures from events happening in Sochi, Russia as they happen. The focus of the tracker is on major events, news and American teams.24/7 coverage will include: - Opening Ceremonies live coverage (Friday, 2/7) from two Digital First Media sports writers who are at Sochi right now. Top finisher for the USA in men's cross country skiathlon was Noah Hoffman in 35th place, 3:12.7 behind the winner. Eric Bjornsen was 42nd, Brian Gregg 47th and Kris Freeman 54th.

Jilleanne Rookard, a 30-year-old from Wyandotte, Mich., is competing in her second Olympic Games. She finished 12th in the women's 3,000 meters in Vancouver in a time of 4:13.05. She skates in the 10th pair; currently the eighth pair is on the ice.
